Story
As some of you know, early in 2021 my son was diagnosed with Autism. Talking about it and raising money for this local charity really helped me understand Autism better and to come to terms with his diagnosis.
Were now in our 3rd year raising money for this great charity. So far we have raised over £5000. The goal is to get past £6000 with this event. So far we have done huge bike rides & climbed mountains. This year I'm doing something completely new & a bit terrifying - I'm going to jump out of a plane.
I need to raise at least £500 for this event to take part and then that will be matched by my employer (up to £500) to reach the 6k goal and start 2024 with a huge amount for Autism Together.
The skydive isn't until June and I have to meet certain weight limits etc so this is a 6 month commitment. I have committed to some other events along the way to keep fit, healthy and within weight for the Jump starting with a 100 mile ride on 9th March 2024 (Velo Events- La Roue) that i will be doing with my usual partner in crime, Gary Williams.
Please give what you can and watch this space and Instagram for updates on my preparation and post the event.
thank you
