Sexual Assault and Abuse Support Service Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes (SAASSBMK) has been providing support to survivors of sexual violence and domestic abuse for 30 years this year. Rape Crisis England and Wales estimate that 1 in 4 women and ManKind estimate that 1 in 6 men have experienced sexual violence. We have seen an increase in demand for our services, up 13% from last year.

I have been working as a counsellor for SAASSBMK during my training placement and have been blown away by the work the organisation does (as well as the amazing strength of the survivors we serve). I'm running the Rocket 5k to raise funds for and awareness of the charity.
