Story
This September, I’ll be taking on one of the toughest physical challenges of my life – a five-day, 600km cycle ride from St David’s in Wales to Okehampton in Devon, as part of Computershare’s 2025 Tour de Farms.
Why? Because I believe in the power of change – a whole team of us will be riding to raise funds for two incredible charities supported by our Change A Life programme:
Farms for City Children and Cyrenians.
Over five gruelling days, I’ll be cycling up to 120km a day on hilly National B roads, visiting all three Farms for City Children locations along the way. These farms give children from urban areas the chance to experience life in the countryside – building confidence, resilience, and a connection to nature. Cyrenians, for which I will be raising funds, supports people facing homelessness and exclusion, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity.
This ride will be physically and mentally demanding – five continuous days in the saddle, powered by determination, grit, and hopefully your support.
If you’re able to, please consider sponsoring me. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly to these life-changing causes and help me push through every hill, ache, and mile.
Cyrenians tackle the causes and consequences of homelessness. Delivering 60+ services, which focus on prevention, early intervention and support into a home. We operate in seven local authorities across South-East and Central Scotland as well as delivering five national services.
By donating to my JustGiving page, you’ll be helping Cyrenians to provide care, community and hope to those at risk of homelessness.
