That's worth £20 etc. I haven't taken on a challenge like this before, but I'm excited to be involved in making a difference to the lives of our elderly. It also gives me more motivation to get off and stay off the couch.

More than 100 brave McCarthy Stone employees and supply partners will be taking on this epic 50km/29km walking challenge in the Surrey Peaks. Taking on 2 or 3 of the biggest peaks in the area, they will be walking for up to 12 hours to complete the challenge.

Every penny donated will be matched by McCarthy Stone and will go to small grassroots charitable causes helping older people. From dementia groups to befriending charities, the aim is to reduce loneliness and isolation for older people across the country.
