Story

I have been a long time supporter (and on the Appeal Board) for the Seashell Trust Transforming Lives Appeal.

The Seashell Trust is an absolutely special and fabulous charity that supports children and young adults with complex learning difficulties, disabilities and communication needs from across the UK.

They have just embarked on a major transformation of their Campus to make it a state of the art School and College facility to support the young people. The also offer residential and respite care. They are looking to raise over £10m for the next phase of the transformation, and I am keen to support their fundraising ambitions.

I defy anyone to visit and not come away feeling proud of the great work that the team are doing.

My own challenge is therefore to Trek to Everest Base camp where I will be camping overnight. This trek is a 17 day hike that will take me from a starting altitude of 2800m all the way to over 5545m (to be precise). I aim to leave the UK on Good Friday and make my way to Nepal, and return towards the middle of April.

Finally, I should add that any contribution would be greatly appreciated and all the fundraising will go directly to the charity (i.e. I will be covering all of the costs for this "little" adventure).

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
