Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm hiking 13 miles this September along the Seven Sisters coastline to raise money for Maytree, the UK's only residential service for people in suicidal crisis.
Our charity's life-saving work depends on donations and fundraising. Maytree receives no statutory funding, and guests and referring agencies are never charged for a stay. Fundraising makes it possible for us to keep offering a safe, free and compassionate space to people at one of the most difficult points in their lives.
The Seven Sisters Cliff Hike is more than a physical challenge. It is a public act of hope, connection and solidarity. The walk comes shortly after World Suicide Prevention Day on 10 September 2026. The route also carries particular significance. As we walk along the Seven Sisters coastline and pass Beachy Head, we will be moving through a landscape closely associated with suicide prevention work. The day offers space to reflect, remember and stand alongside those affected by suicide, while supporting Maytree's offer of practical help for people in crisis now.
Every pound raised goes directly to Maytree's provision of sanctuary, food, warmth, listening and care. By donating or taking part, you are helping turn compassion into action.
