Help provide nutritious meals for our at-risk and vulnerable neighbors

Saint Joesph's Day of Giving · 21 March 2023
This year we were going to raise money for our food pantries. Then last week it became critical. Inflation is taking its toll on our low and fixed-income neighbors, and they need help today.
Low-income seniors started lining up early for our parking lot pantry at La Casa Amiga (Pontiac), and the Forgotten Harvest truck (our resource partner at La Casa Amiga) ran out of food and left early. All Saints Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry in southwest Detroit has struggled to keep its shelves stocked since they reopened last June, with demand rising as news of its opening spreads. And, Senior Outreach in Macomb County has an increasing list of vulnerable and low-income seniors in need. The pantry at Center for the Works of Mercy and partner St. Leo's Soup Kitchen in Midtown are seeking partners to better meet the emergent need for food.
Will you help support food programs serving people in need throughout southeast Michigan today? Celebrate Saint Joseph's Feast Day, March 20th, this year by helping a hungry neighbor.
