Story
Hello there, lovely people of Britain and beyond!
I am embarking on a rather daft adventure that needs your financial backing. I am hiking 96 miles of the West Highland Way whilst camping (because apparently comfortable beds are for wimps).
Who’s this for?
Lichfield Roundtable is a band of local lads who gather regularly to support community projects, raise funds for worthy causes, and occasionally embarrass ourselves in public for charity. Throughout the year, we organize charity events, volunteer our time (and questionable skills), and raise thousands of pounds for local causes. You know that Santa Sleigh taken around Lichfield on a trailer every day in December raising money for local charities? That’s us.
What's This Nonsense About?
Why, you ask, will I do this hike? To raise funds for a gazebo. Yes, a gazebo. Not just any gazebo, mind you, but a proper weatherproof one that will help Lichfield Roundtable run and support more fundraising activities for local charities.
Any donation would be smashing—from a couple of quid to "blimey, that's generous!" We promise to complain about the Scottish weather, our blisters, and our poor life choices the entire 96 miles, all while maintaining a stiff upper lip.
