Story
I'm running the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 for my daughter Marla — and for every family touched by premature birth.
In November 2024, our daughter Marla was born 8 weeks early. Like so many parents of premature babies, we were suddenly thrown into a world we never expected — one filled with incubators, monitors, NICU rounds, and uncertainty. No one prepares you for that.
Becoming a parent is overwhelming enough, but having a baby in neonatal care brings a whole new set of challenges — emotional, physical, and mental. It's a frightening and isolating experience, and it's one you never think will happen to you.
That’s why I’m running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in 2026 in support of Bliss, the UK’s leading charity for babies born premature or sick. Bliss supports families through every step of neonatal care — offering information, emotional support, and fighting for better care and policies across the country. They were there for us, and they’re there for thousands of families every year.
I’m running for Marla, and for every tiny fighter like her. Your donation, big or small, will help Bliss continue to provide life-changing support to families in their toughest moments.
Please donate if you can — and thank you for being part of our journey. 💜
