Story

Morning,

At the end of last year I was lucky enough to be awarded a place on the NSPCC LONDON MARATHON 2024 TEAM. I am 3 weeks into a marathon training routine and finding the time comittment and physical aspect of the training tough.

Over the last few months I've uploaded pictures, posts and stories detailing my return to running after a difficult 18 months with chronic tightness and Plantar Fasciitis. This return has so far included several 5k, 10k and half marathon races. The aim is to complete this comeback by running my first ever marathon.

A quick visit to the NSPCC website will show you what an important charity they are.

The NSPCC is the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. We help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.

Every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after abuse.

I have been set a target by the charity to raise £2,200 and therefore would like to ask for any donation ( big or small) that you are able to give as I aim to achieve this.

Stay tuned for training, charity and race updates in the coming weeks and months.

Thank you in advance for any support you can give.

God Bless.

Mickey
