Story

🚀 MIKEY’S CHARITY CHALLENGE 🚀

Running 1500 Miles. Raising £1500. Saving Lives.

Hey friends! I’m Mikey — 57, not an athlete, definitely not built for marathons… but I’m taking on 1500 miles in a year to raise money and awareness for mental health 💪

That means half marathons, full marathons, even ultra marathons 😱

It’s going to be brutal — but I’m doing it for a cause that’s close to my heart.

Why?

Because mental health struggles are real.

Because male suicide rates are terrifying.

Because we don’t talk about it enough.

Because I’ve been there — PTSD, darkness, silence.

And because Who Dares Cares is an incredible charity helping veterans, emergency services, and their families find light in the dark.

How can you help?

• 💷 Help me hit my £1500 goal to train more peer-to-peer mental health counsellors

• 📲 Follow my journey on Instagram: #mikeyscharitychallenge

Let’s run toward hope — together.

Thanks for your support ❤️
