On Saturday 10th May, the Scout Group and the Aldershot RBL are organising an 80K Relay Run around Manor Park to raise money for 3 charities, The Poppy Appeal, Cancer Support Network - Cancer Champions and the 2nd Aldershot Scout Group.

Starting at 0700 we will run round a 0.75k circuit of the park until 80k has been reached.

Each person that walks or runs in this relay will get a Royal British Legion VE80 commemorative pin badge if they raise £15.00 or more, so please put the name of who you are sponsoring in your message text.

The beneficiaries have been chosen because

1) We are an affiliated group to the Aldershot RBL

2) We have leaders who have recently been helped by Cancer Support Network - Cancer Champions

3) It helps us keep Scouting at the 2nd Aldershot affordable for all.

All donations are gratefully received and will be shared equally between the 3 charities.

Supporters are welcome to come along and cheer on the runners. The RBL members will be selling Teas, Coffees, Cake and other refreshments so please bring some money, relax in the sun (hopefully) and enjoy the hospitality.
