I am competing in the Baildon Boundary Way on the 7th April 2024. It is my first ever half marathon and it will definitely be a challenge for me. A bit by accident, I have found running to be a useful pass time to help dissolve the troubles of the day so I thought is would be a nice opportunity to raise some money and some awareness for ANDYSMANCLUB.

ANDYSMANCLUB are there to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and create a judgment-free, confidential space where men can be open about the storms in their lives. They offer weekly, free-to-attend, peer-to-peer support groups for men aged over 18.

Last year, the world sadly lost Callum and then David. I was lucky enough to have met both through work and they both spend time in my thoughts as I wonder if I could have helped or supported them better. Sometimes, you just don't know quite how someone is really feeling.

We all experience difficulties and deal with them in different ways. Sometimes problems can feel too big to overcome. Whether you feel overwhelmed in your business, have a difficult relationship, can't pay the mortgage or just find yourself in the gravel at turn 1. Never forget #ItsOkToTalk ❤️
