Story

As some of you may or may not know my partner has MS . Before meeting her I had no idea what MS truly was and the challenges people who have MS experience on a daily basis. I have chosen to run for the MS Trust as they continue do to do great work to support people with MS .

The MS Trust is a UK charity which is here to help everyone make sense of MS. The MS Trust receive no government or NHS funding. It's only thanks to the generosity of their supporters, such as The incredible MS Trust London Marathon Team that they continue their work.

But why run the Marathon to help The MS Trust ?

I know I could help in other ways but through doing the marathon I also want to prove something to myself . In 2024 my lung spontaneously collapsed and I had to undergo two surgeries. On my recovery bed I said to myself and God that if I make a full recovery and I am able to run and play football at the level I could before I was going to run the Marathon to show to myself and others that your comeback can be greater than your setback.

Did you know:

£15 could pay for one of our information specialists to provide telephone support to a person with MS.

£100 could cover the cost to provide our Making Sense of MS guide to everybody diagnosed with MS in one week.

£1,800 could pay for a newly-appointed MS specialist nurse to receive foundation training in MS care, through the MS Trusts development module.

Please help me to support the MS Trust, thank you for your donation.
