Story
ROSEN(UK) have supported Children's Cancer North over the years by providing volunteer stewards for the annual run. This year we are taking our support to the next level by organising our own fundraising activity, a 17.4 mile walk of Hadrian's Wall.
Now, to add a bit more drama to this already demanding challenge – I'll be tackling this 17.4-mile walk with a bit of a dodgy ankle! Yes, I'll be hobbling my way along Hadrian's Wall, but don’t worry – I promise I’ll keep the moaning to a minimum (well, I'll try). If you want to help ease the pain (and spare my walking buddies from hearing about my ankle the whole way), a generous donation would certainly do the trick. Every step (or limp) counts, so let’s make it worthwhile!
Children's Cancer North is dedicated to making life better for children with cancer across the North East and Cumbria. Around 100 children from across the region are newly diagnosed with cancer every year and come to the Great North Children's Hospital in Newcastle for their treatment. Children's Cancer North aims to improve their quality of life through transforming the environment and play experience on the wards, providing access to potentially life saving clinical trials and funding revolutionary research to find more effective treatments.
