On 28th-30th July I will be taking part in (and hoping to complete, although there is no guarantee as there is a 40-50% drop out rate!!) the Montane Lakeland 100 Ultramarathon Event (https://lakeland100.com/2023/). This is a 105 mile run/walk across the Lake District which includes 22500ft of ascent/descents.

I thought I would use this opportunity to raise money for a wonderful charity in my local area the, Hidden Treasure Trust, which operates the Hope Centre in Partington. (https://www.hopecentrepartington.com/)

The Hope Centre provides, food, clothing and financial assistance among other resources to the local community and is in great need of donations, so anything you can spare will be appreciated.

I would like to say thank you to my family who have supported me with time and opportunity to train for this, and Ryan Barry, a great personal trainer at the Gym Group Altrincham.
