Having ran the Cardiff Half marathon last year with four other amazing people to fundraise for Vale DAS, I felt like it was something I had to do again. To have autonomy over my time, my money and ultimately, my life, is something women suffering from domestic abuse have had taken away from them. So, I have decided to do what I can to raise money to help those that have suffered pain and abuse.

I’m extremely happy to be able to play a small part in supporting this incredibly worthy cause. If you’re able I’d really appreciate your support, no matter the number, in reaching my target.

Vale Domestic Abuse Services create lasting change in the Vale of Glamorgan, making sure domestic abuse, sexual violence, and any other form of violence against women, children and girls cannot – and will not – be excused. Our mission is to give hope to all those affected by domestic abuse in the hope that life can be different.

The funds raised by our generous supporters enable us to provide life-affirming care for survivors of violence and abuse. This includes counselling services, homeware ‘new start’ packs for women and families entering refuge and holistic wellbeing and empowerment sessions.

We are dedicated to supporting survivors to create fulfilled, safe lives and to create transformative, lasting change in the Vale of Glamorgan community.
