In order to raise money for Volunteering Matters I am taking part in an Ultimate Triathlon Event on 11th June. The triathlon consists of a 3km stand up paddleboard, 21km road bike ride (440m of ascent with the summit climb taking 4km!), and then a 5km trail run, all around Wimbleball Lake, Exmoor. Training is well underway but there's no doubt this is a challenge! I'd be very grateful for any donations to support Volunteering Matters and the incredible work they do.

As a Community Ambassador for Volunteering Matters I recognise the amazing impact the volunteer-led projects across the UK have in response to some of the most difficult challenges facing individuals and their communities today.

Volunteering is a hugely valuable and rewarding experience for the volunteers and the communities they support.
