On April 26th, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon in my first (and likely only) marathon. Whilst this will be a huge challenge, it pales into insignificance compared to the challenges that children in poverty face on a daily basis.

I’m running on behalf of Street Child, a fantastic charity that works in the world’s toughest countries to keep children safe, and in education.

Right now, millions of children are denied an education due to poverty, displacement, and conflict. Street Child tackles this by:

• Supporting access to quality education

• Reuniting children with families and providing child protection

• Helping families build sustainable livelihoods so children can stay in school
