Story
My Grandpa has had prostate cancer for 10 years and has recently had to stop chemo to treat lung cancer so to give him a boost I completed this challenge. 3,650 reps in the gym *in one session* for the 3,650 days he’s lived with cancer.
It was almost 7 hours straight of lifting and shifting what will be close to 140,000kg so no small feat. Pa received his recent diagnosis at Cheltenham hospital and the new building will be more comforting and welcoming for anyone receiving this news in the future.
Please donate to help families like mine get the comfort they deserve, receiving what can be dark news in a brighter, happier place.
Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a designated Regional Cancer Centre and has provided specialist cancer care for people in our community for more than 60 years supporting hundreds of thousands of local people to receive the best care there is to offer. Many of the current facilities are over 25 years old and a new modern building is needed to care for future generations.
I am fundraising for The Big Space Cancer Appeal to help build a bigger, brighter home for cancer care.
