Story
We are taking on the Sydney Marathon together in support of Missing People – an incredible charity doing vital work to support families and individuals affected by disappearance.
Friends for over 20 years, we’ve supported each other through some of the world’s biggest marathons. Phil was there cheering Michael on in London, New York, Tokyo, and Boston. We both ran Chicago – not side by side, but on the same course – and Michael was there to cheer Phil on in Berlin and London. Between us, we’ve completed all six of the Abbott World Marathon Majors.
Now, in a special twist, we’re finally running one together – in Sydney – and we’re doing it for a cause that truly matters to us.
Missing People is a lifeline for those experiencing the trauma of someone vanishing without a trace. The charity provides crucial emotional and practical support to families during the most distressing times and helps reconnect people when all hope feels lost.
If you can, please consider donating – every pound raised will go directly towards helping someone find their way home and supporting the families who are still waiting.
Our overall target is £3,600. All travel and accommodation costs are self-funded – every penny you donate goes directly to the charity.
Thank you so much for your support – it truly means a lot.
