It's a pleasure to be taking on another boxing event and this time doing it for a charity that does amazing work through out the community let's help them keep going . Updates will be added as I go along , Mikey's worlds story below ,

Mikey, from Kingswood, Bristol was just 16 when he was killed in a knife attack at a birthday party in the nearby area of Bath, June 2023.

Mikey’s World has been created by Mikey’s mum, Hayley, to give back to the local community in Mikey’s memory, with a focus on young people. Hayley is supported by Mikey’s Dad, Spike, her partner, Scott, and a fantastic network of family and friends who know and love Mikey.

Community support will be provided through encouraging youngsters to get off the streets and into boxing or music studios #streetstoboxnbeats whilst also raising awareness of methods and bleed kits to help save lives from knife injuries. Continuing additional support, activities and awareness will be introduced as our journey continues.

The first fundraiser in July 2023, a 5-a-side tournament with family attractions, was such a success and a great day for Mikey’s family and friends to be a part of. The proceeds of the previous fundraising, which was arranged by good friends on behalf of the families, went towards Mikeys funeral and to support the families. Mikey had such a beautiful send-off and the support to the families relieved the financial stresses that sudden life changing events like this can cause .
