Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Hello and thanks for stopping by! 🚲

Being born and raised just 16 miles outside of John O’Groats, the LEJOG cycling challenge is one I have always wanted to tackle, but never got round to doing! With my folks now due to move on from Castletown in the near future I decided last year to take the plunge and organise my trip for June 2025.

As always I am keen to make the most of the challenge by raising money for a worthwhile cause. Back in 2020 I undertook a 530-mile cycling challenge around Edinburgh and with your help raised an amazing £1,260 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society Scotland.

Multiple Sclerosis is a neurological condition that affects the nerves in your central nervous system and while symptoms can be managed there is currently no cure. In 2020 my Dad received an MS diagnosis and while he is currently managing well with it I am keen to support the MS Society Scotland with their research into stopping MS and to help support others who suffer from the disease.

Any donation you can spare will be hugely appreciated by them and will help to spur me on as I average around 80 miles a day for 2 weeks!

Best get on my bike…
