My uncle Ted suffered from alzheimers until he unfortunately passed a few years ago. He was not only an Uncle to me but a coach and role model in life. He was a very talented athlete and one of the most hardworking people i have met. He inspired plenty, not only with his athletic achievements, but also with his willingness to help with alzheimers research and take part in studies to help find a cure in the future. I think of him in moments of struggle and doubt in training and to this day he helps push me to be a better person. Donate if you are able to, every dollar makes a difference.
