Story
This year I’m running the marathon for St Wilfrid’s Hospice who cared for Simon’s Dad with such compassion during his final days. The support they gave — not just to him, but to all of us — was extraordinary.
I genuinely wasn’t planning to run a marathon this year. But when I unexpectedly got a place, it felt like a sign to put it to good use — to honour a very special man, and to give something back to the people who helped him, so much.
St Wilfrid’s relies on donations to continue offering this level of care to families going through the hardest moments of their lives. Anything you can give, big or small, will make a real difference to someone else’s loved one.
Thank you so much for your support — it means more than you know.
