24-Hour TAB for Pancreatic Cancer UK
This year, I’m taking on a challenge that will push me to my absolute limits — a 24-hour TAB (loaded march) carrying a 20kg bergen, covering as many miles as I possibly can.
This isn’t just about endurance or physical strength. It’s about resilience, discipline, and having a reason strong enough to keep moving when everything in me wants to stop.
I’m doing this in support of Pancreatic Cancer UK, a cause that has hit close to home. Earlier this year, my wife Kellie’s uncle, Jay, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. In a cruel and devastatingly short space of time, he passed away.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest forms of cancer, often diagnosed too late and progressing rapidly. Watching how quickly it took someone from our family has been a stark reminder of how important awareness, research, and support truly are.
Family means everything to me. And this challenge is for Jay, for Kellie, and for everyone who has been affected by this disease.
Over 24 hours, every step I take under that weight will be driven by purpose — to honour his memory and to help raise funds that can make a difference for others facing the same battle.
Your support, no matter how big or small, will mean a lot — not just to me, but to the families and individuals who need it most.
Let’s make every mile count.
