Every year, the Bank of America Chicago Marathon hosts thousands of runners who choose to make their Chicago Marathon experience more meaningful by running on behalf of a charity.

Story

This year is the 20th anniversary of my first Chicago Marathon. This race changed my life and eventually led me to help start Team World Vision. In the last 18 years, TWV has raised over $100 Million for clean water projects in majority world countries.

Five months ago I stepped into the role as CEO of an amazing organization here in Chicago that comes alongside families experiencing poverty in Chicago.

To celebrate what God did in my life 20 years ago, I’ll be raising funds for Marillac St Vincent Family Services and looking for some folks to sponsor a child through World Vision. Thank you for your donation to help us serve families in Chicago!

Marillac St. Vincent Family Services strengthens, empowers, and gives voice to those in need - in the Vincentian spirit of service - through education and comprehensive programs to build vibrant communities in Chicago. We have been ministering to those in need in Chicago for over 100 years.
