On Sunday 21st April 2024 I will be running 26.2 miles (42.2km) in London Marathon 2024. I am running to support the charity Tinnitus UK.

Tinnitus is a sound that is heard without any external source for that sound and can include ringing, buzzing and pulsatile sounds. Though it's an unseen problem, for some people tinnitus can be debilitating. It is associated with hearing loss for some.

As a doctor, many of my patients in ENT clinics are affected by tinnitus. I also have tinnitus and so I have an understanding what patients go through.

Tinnitus UK supports the 7.6 million people in the UK (11% of population) affected by tinnitus. They provide free support, invest in tinnitus research, and work with healthcare professionals to improve tinnitus care. To find out more information please visit https://tinnitus.org.uk/
