Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

I am attempting to complete the first of a number of challenges which is the London to Brighton Bike ride to in memory of my Grandma Mrs Josie Wheeler who died earlier this year.

I am raising money for Cardiac risk in the young or CRY.

This is my first time doing the London to Brighton and i am not sure that i have done enough training for this!

Wish me luck and please give anything you can for this incredible cause.

Every week in the UK at least 12 apparently fit and healthy young people die of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.

With your donation, CRY can reduce the frequency of young sudden cardiac death (YSCD) by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening facilities to promote and protect the cardiac health of our young.

By supporting CRY you will help save young lives from these potentially fatal cardiac conditions.
