Story
Michalina started running a long time ago, but for years it was just something she did quietly for herself. She never signed up for races. She never thought she was “that kind of runner.”
Last year, for the first time, she decided to challenge herself and ran her first 5K event. This year, she did it again. And now, She's taking it one step further — SHE'S RUNNING 10K!
Running, for her, isn’t just about distance. It’s about space.
It’s the one time she gets to slow down mentally while moving physically. It helps her reset, gain perspective, and recharge. In a world full of noise, notifications, and constant distractions, running gives her something rare — time alone with her thoughts.
Strangely enough, the easiest part of 10 kilometres isn’t the middle. Kilometres seven and eight feel strong. Steady. Focused.
The hardest part is the very first one.
The moment you have to get out of bed and put your shoes on.
Step outside — no matter the weather.
That decision is always the toughest.
But once the headphones are on and you start moving, it’s just you and the road. No scrolling. No pressure. Just breath, rhythm, and determination.
This 10K isn’t only about running. It’s about showing up — even when it’s uncomfortable. And this time, she's not just running for herself. She's running to raise £250 for a cause that truly matters.
If you’d like to support her and help make every kilometre count, I’d be incredibly grateful.
Thank you for being part of her journey
