My name is Micheal Shanahan, a 27 year old ultra runner from Kerry.

This time last year, with the support of my friends and family, I took on the feat of running the length of Ireland for the Irish Cancer Society - Malin to Mizen. In that time, I raised over €6000 euro, an amount of money I was so grateful to be able to give to Cancer Research.

Unfortunately, like so many families, mine too has been touched by Cancer. I want to keep fundraising to help find a cure, by taking on another challenge this year - coast to coast.

With the help of my team, I will run from the West to East of Ireland, in a week, covering a distance of approximately 220km.
