Story
I am running the Edinburgh Marathon on 25th May 2025 to raise funds for Haemophilia Scotland.
This cause is very close to my heart, as my nephew James was diagnosed with Haemophilia B at just 8 months old. Since then, he has faced every challenge with incredible courage and has never let his condition hold him back!
Haemophilia is a rare blood condition which affects the blood's ability to clot. There is no cure for Haemophilia but injections every few days can help prevent and treat prolonged bleeding. Haemophilia Scotland's mission is to campaign for optimal treatment and provide support for those affected and their families. Any donation, no matter how big or small will be hugely appreciated and will go towards helping their exceptional work continue.
I am proud to be running for Haemophilia Scotland, especially for James - there's no better motivation for me to cross the finishing line on the 25th!
