Dear family & friends,

In a moment of madness I have agreed to join my dear friend, Tracy, and my fabulous cousins, Linda & Mooney to walk 13 miles to raise awareness and much needed funds for dementia. We have my lovely father-in-law who lives with dementia and we can see how much this affects his life. Sadly, our grandfather died in 2013 after living with dementia, he was a proud soldier. I know so many people who are living with this condition and their families who watch their loved one fade away. I will be walking (as you know I don't run!) 13 miles starting in Cheltenham and will be enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Cotswolds Way. I am doing this to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society so that they can continue their research and be part of finding solutions for people living with dementia and for those of us, who may face this in our own futures.
