Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (APF) is a growing community of patients, families, researchers and healthcare professionals striving to find a cure for pulmonary fibrosis so that everyone affected by the disease has a better future. We provide personalised support to patient and families - and raise awareness of pulmonary fibrosis through campaigning, fundraising and education. We are also committed to funding research to improve the quality of life for people living with pulmonary fibrosis today and tomorrow.

Hello,

As many of you already know our Dad bravely battled with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was given 3 years to live and fought on for 8 years. Sadly he passed away last year. Witnessing his strength and determination in the face of his condition has inspired us to take action and make a difference. So just under a year ago Paul, my brother challenged me to run 10km. At that point I could not even run between one lamp post to the next. However, with Dad in mind I made a start with the training. So as a a family we are hoping (ok, I will actually manage even if it involves crawling!) to run 10km in York on the 3rd August.

But we can't do it alone, so we are reaching out to all of you, my friends, family and kind hearted supporters to join me in this mission.
