2026 - the year I trek the Great Wall of China!!!

An opportunity I couldn’t let pass me by, even though I am petrified and can’t quite believe I have signed up to do this on my own!!! Mum wouldn’t believe I am doing this but I am!

In February 2025 we lost my beautiful mum to cancer and without the support of St Richard’s Hospice we wouldn’t have been able to embrace the last few days she had left. A massive weight was lifted the moment they took her in and through the hardest time of our lives we were able to spend time with mum without worrying or rushing around.

So now it’s my time to give back and say thank you for everything they did for us all as a family. I’m not sure why my thanks has to be on such a grand scale but then it wouldn’t be a challenge!! From the girl who couldn’t even do sleepovers to now travel half way across the world to get some steps in, is extreme!! But everything you guys can do to help me smash this challenge and target is genuinely appreciated. Mum wasn’t one for being the centre of attention but without her I wouldn’t be doing this.

I will also be turning 40 next year so the bucket list begins I guess!!!
