Story
In April 2026 I’ll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in support of the incredible Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity.
As a SEND teacher, I work every day with young people who face challenges in their learning. I constantly encourage my students to step outside their comfort zones, to persevere when things feel difficult, and to believe in their own potential. By taking on this half marathon, I want to model the very resilience and determination I ask of them every day — showing them that we can all do hard things.
Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity provides life-changing support to children and adults with dyslexia and other learning differences. Their work empowers individuals, builds confidence, and opens doors to opportunities that might otherwise feel out of reach.
I had the privilege of running the London Marathon for this same charity in 2019, and I am incredibly honoured to have been asked to represent and support them again. This cause is close to my heart — both professionally and personally.
Please consider donating if you can. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help make a real difference to the lives of those with dyslexia and learning difficulties.
Thank you so much for your support.
