Treking Kilimanjaro · 1 July 2023

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Two of my relatives have Parkinson’s (cousin Steve and auntie Lorraine). They and many others live with the challenging symptoms of Parkinson’s every day and there is currently no cure. The least I could do was face the challenge of climbing Kilimanjaro. Myself and my colleague and friend Trish will trek Kilimanjaro over 9 days starting on 1st July. We have been fortunate enough to pay for our own trip therefore any money raised will go straight to Parkinson’s UK to fund much needed research.
