HSFA preserves and interprets the stories of Holocaust survivors through our Exhibition and Learning Centre in Huddersfield. We deliver learning programmes for schools and community groups so that people can understand how the experiences of the Holocaust are relevant today and in the future.

Story

I recently heard the director, Alessandro Bucci speak passionately about the work of this incredible charity. He explained what they do to sustain the future of Holocaust education and why this is so important.

They preserve items belonging to Holocaust survivors and thereby preserve, protect and honour their memory and ensure that their stories are told over and over again and are not forgotten.

Donations enable the charity us to continue their educational work based at their Holocaust Exhibition and Learning Centre in Huddersfield and to provide practical and emotional support to our survivor community.

They rely solely on donations which is why I am helping to raise money for them.

I am also doing this to honour the memory of two friends of my late grandmother, who were both survivors of the Holocaust and had their own very different stories to tell.
