On 26 July 2026, I'll be joining my Courmacs Legal colleagues to walk 30 miles from The Christie in Manchester back to our front door at Cathedral Square, Blackburn.

I'm not doing this alone — the whole Courmacs family is walking together — but I wanted my own page to tell you why I'm putting one foot in front of the other for all 30 of those miles.

We're walking for one of our own. A cherished member of our team is currently being cared for at The Christie, and she is at the very heart of our office. When someone you see every day, someone who matters so much to all of us, is facing something this hard, you want to do something. This is my something. Every mile I walk is for her.

The Christie Charity supports over 60,000 patients every year, providing world-class care and the kind of life-saving research that gives families more time together. As a team we're aiming to raise £10,000 — and every pound donated through my page goes straight to that total and directly to The Christie.
