The Friends of the Baby Unit was established 49 years ago (1976) to raise money for equipment for use in the intensive care of preterm and sick newborn babies being cared for on the Neonatal unit at The Royal Derby Hospital. The money raised over that time is now over £2 million pounds. Thank you

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So as many will know Reggie (aka my little Pidge) turns 10 on the 26th April 2023.

Reggie was born on 26th April April 2013 weighing 4lb 12oz, so this year marks a massive milestone in Reggies and our lives.

Reggie is loved by everyone that knows him and is such a little character.

Reggie also has Cerebral Palsy, ASD and suspected epilepsy (his EEG shows he’s prone to focal seizures)

There was a time we thought we’d never see Reggie turn 10.

From Saturday 25th March till Wednesday 26th April I will be walking 10000 steps a day and doing 26 squats a day (26 as it’s Reggies birthday date!) believe me when I say 26 will be a challenge as I’ve never done a single squat in my life!!

I’d like to raise £1000, this will be £100 for each year of Reggies life, to say thankyou to the Neonatal Unit that helped Reggie in the first weeks of his life 💚💚💚
