I purchased a home for myself and my granddaughters for a very low cost. I knew going in it was going to need a lot of repairs which I was up for the challenge knowing in the end that this was going to be a place we could call home. No more renting at the ridiculous rates that I could no longer afford. I saved my money and worked overtime as well as took on extra shifts to purchase supplies needed for the renovations. The supplies that were bought for this project were stolen over $4000.00 worth of new windows, not to mention drywall, installation, counter tops, flooring, sink, toilet, generator, wood and tools. I am seeking assistance in with any donations that can be given. I have to start over from scratch repurchasing everything that was stolen, and do not have the funds to do so. Our primary goal is to eliminate unsafe and deplorable living conditions for low-income homeowners like myself, elderly, veterans, and/or have disabilities. Our impact extends beyond the individuals served to revitalize and stabilize vulnerable neighborhoods and communities across the county.

Rebuilding Together works to make a sustainable impact in our community by addressing quality of life issues by providing critical home repairs and improvements at no cost to the homeowner. Rebuilding Togethers activities have a direct impact on: (1) retention of low-income home ownership and improvement of affordable housing stock, (2) health, safety and independence of vulnerable populations, and (3) community and neighborhood revitalization.
