This October i will taking on the challenge of a 5 day trek along the Great Wall of China. Probably not the easiest challenge for me as I hate hills and being from the Fenlands see every hill around my village as a challenge. There will be training involved and probably a few words to myself.

The upside to this is supporting a service that is widely and gratefully used by those in need in our area. Enabling the staff to do a wonderful job and concentrate on the residents and their families.

Katharine House relies heavily on the local community to help fund the hospice. It costs £16,261 per day to run Katharine House Hospice. Your donation will not only help to fund the clinical costs at the hospice, but also all the extra services that make it such a special place – from bereavement support to art therapies, from relaxation classes to the hospice food and so much more.
