Stroke Association Northern Ireland: A Lifeline for Stroke Survivors
The Stroke Association Northern Ireland is a vital charity dedicated to supporting stroke survivors and their families across NI. With a mission to prevent strokes, support recovery, and advocate for better stroke care, this organisation plays a crucial role within Northern Ireland. Their efforts include providing information, emotional support, and practical assistance to those affected by strokes, as well as funding research to improve treatment and outcomes. This year's Charity was nominated by Shaunagh Devlin from our Marketing Department, here is Shaunagh Story,
Why I choose to put forward the Stroke Association Northern Ireland?
My family and I have been committed to the Stroke Association Northern Ireland for over 20 years because of a very personal connection. In 2004, my mummy had her first stroke at the young age of 46, and that started our journey with this charity. She then unfortunately faced a second stroke 5 years later, and sadly, the third stroke in 2015 took her life. In her memory, we've raised nearly £10,000 to support the amazing work they do.
This year, I'm really honoured that Uform has picked the Stroke Association Northern Ireland for the Rampage 2025 5K & 10K run. Our efforts help ensure the charity can keep providing essential services and hope to stroke survivors and their families. We appreciate any donation, big or small, everything will go towards this charity. Thank you 😊
