So what started as a plan to get together with friends has turned in to a 13 mile trek raising money for this amazing charity who help so many people but in particular have given excellent support and advice to members of our group.

The Alzeimers Society have been there for Helen, one of my oldest and closest friends, and her mum since the beginning of their journey with this cruel disease since her diagnosis in December 2022. Helen would have been lost without their support and knows first hand that the care and help they give to the affected individual and their families is amazing.

Dementia is such a cruel condition which affects so many people but there is still so much research needed which needs money so please give all you can to help this amazing cause.

Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.

I will also be doing this walk in memory of the very dear Brenda Miles.
