Story
My dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2017 but we believe he had it a lot longer than this. This cruel disease had a massive impact on our whole family, not just mum but his children and grandchildren. Alzheimer’s doesn’t discriminate, it takes anyone and devastates lives. Dad died three years ago but he lives on in our memories and through events like this walk. Every little helps towards hopefully finding a cure for this cruel disease. If you can help by sponsoring me, me and my family would be very grateful.
Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.
