I’m running the Great North Run in memory of Mason Wright, the much-loved son of our friends, Nicola & Steven Wright. 💙

Since losing Mason, Nicola, her family and friends have worked tirelessly to raise money in his memory for the Great North Air Ambulance Service, raising an incredible £40,000+ through various events.

I’d love to do my little bit to help add to that amazing total.

So, I’m going to plod my way through 13.1 miles of sheer pain 😅🏃‍♀️ — all for an incredible charity that is there for so many people in their greatest moment of need.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) rescues hundreds of severely injured or ill patients every year throughout the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Their doctor-led critical care teams deliver life-saving treatments at the scene of the incident whether that is on a fell top, a roadside or in a city centre. The charity responded to 2,083 call outs in 2024 alone, via their helicopter and emergency response vehicles, where they performed treatments and procedures which can mean the difference between life or death.
