Sadly my husband suffered a cardiac arrest whilst watching our son race in the Milltek Civic Cup at Oulton park. At the time his lasting memory was seeing him up to 3rd place with the fastest lap with 5 minutes of the race to go, he would have been over the moon.

The medics at the race track were amazing and were straight on the scene. My husband was then airlifted to Stoke Royal Hospital where the staff were incredible and provided the best care for him 24/7. Sadly on the 16th June, Fathers day he passed. We still can’t believe he is no longer with us. A devoted husband and amazing father to Chloe and Sam. Sleep tight we love you so so much 💔
