Story
I’m running a 10K to raise funds for My Sisters’ House, a charity that provides vital support to women experiencing domestic abuse and other significant challenges.
As a family solicitor, I see first-hand the devastating impact that abuse can have on women and their families. Through my firm’s pro bono work, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients connected with My Sisters’ House and witnessing the incredible difference their services make.
My Sisters’ House is a safe, women-only centre supporting women across the Arun and Chichester districts. They provide free, trauma-informed and responsive support to women facing domestic abuse, poverty, mental health difficulties and other disadvantages. Their mission is simple but powerful: no woman in our community should face these challenges alone or without access to the help she needs.
The team works tirelessly to empower women to rebuild their lives, regain independence and move towards a safer and more hopeful future. Their compassionate, non-judgemental approach ensures that every woman who walks through their doors is treated with dignity, respect and understanding.
I’m taking on this 10K challenge to help raise funds so that My Sisters’ House can continue providing this life-changing support to women who need it most.
Any donation, big or small, will make a real difference. Thank you so much for your support.
