On Saturday 21st of March i will be abseling off the Falkirk Wheel to raise funds for Moving on Inverclyde, a fantastic group that helps people in addiction by "MOVING ON" from addiction problems they run all different groups and smart recovery meetings and staff here are amazing and the most amazing group of keyworkers you could ever meet, joining moving on has given me motivation hope and ambition again, and has showed me that we can recover and its about the choices and paths we take in our life's, addiction and drugs dont just ruin our life's but our family's as well, this amazing charity helps build and rebuild the foundations to a happy peaceful life, at the end of the day though its about us as addicts in recovery who make the choices to the right or wrong paths in life, the sacrifices you have to make in sobriety are the most important it can be a lonely hard time, but its most definitely where the rubber meets the road and yes there are bumps along the way but I promise recovery is worth every sacrifice you will ever make in your life.
