My name is Michelle Mikhels and I am currently a student at NYU Stern School of Business. As a woman and a first-generation American, I understand the struggles displaced families, particularly women and children, face. By listening to their needs, challenges, and proposed solutions, WRC amplifies their voices and develops programs that address gender-based violence, economic empowerment and self-reliance, sexual and reproductive health, human rights violations, and much more, to catalyze changes in humanitarian practice.
